Coach Vic Bubas has been coaching basketball for over 30 years. He has coached at the college level, professional level and high school level. Coach Vic Bubas was a very good player himself and had a great career at Duke University where he helped his team win the National Championship in 1985. 

After coaching in the NBA, he came back to Duke University as an assistant coach for five years before becoming head coach of the Blue Devils from 1995-2002.

During his tenure at Duke, Coach Vic Bubas had some amazing players like Shane Battier, Danny Ferry and Jay Williams who went on to have successful careers in their respective fields such as law enforcement, sports management, and television respectively. 

After leaving Duke University, Coach Vic Bubas joined ESPN where he works as an analyst on ESPN College Basketball Today show along with Mike Gminski and Dick Vitale.

He went on to become one of the most successful coaches in NBA history as well as president of basketball operations for the Atlanta Hawks. 

Danny Ferry has also had a very successful career as an executive with several different organizations including Reebok International Limited (1999–2001), NFL Properties LLC (2002–2003), and Time Warner Incorporated (2003–2004).

There are many memorable moments in Duke basketball history. The most recent was when Grayson Allen's buzzer-beating shot won the NCAA Championship game against North Carolina last season. 

In 2010, Duke defeated Michigan State to win the national championship. That year, Tyler Hansbrough and Tyus Jones led the Blue Devils to a perfect season with victories over teams such as UCLA, Florida State, and Syracuse.
